The Midland County Democratic Party (MCDP) is a grassroots community organization of committed citizens dedicated to supporting Democratic Party efforts within Midland County, the State of Michigan, and the United States of America. Our primary mission is to support qualified local candidates.
Our guest speaker in May is Maryli Secrest, Candidate Services Director for the MI House Dems Caucus
Maryli will be talking about the current structure of the House Democrats; her role within the organization; what the MI Dems are focused on through the 2020 cycle; how the caucus can support state house candidates and how folks can get involved to win races up and down the ticket.
She will also talk briefly about how we think about campaign messaging, and the difference between earned and paid communications.
We will also discuss Midland Blooms — May 18th and make plans for our Midland and Sanford Memorial Day Parades — Monday May 27th.
Our new t-shirts will be available for purchase for $25 at the meeting if you'd like to one while planting.
We recently sent out our annual members/fundraiser appeal. We need and appreciate you or support. If you have not received the letter please let us know.
For your convenience we know offer an on-line, Act Blue, donation account on our website.
