Environmental Issue Forum @ Grand Traverse Pie Company

If you breathe air, drink water, or feed your family plant and animal products, you're invited to a public discussion on environmental issues on Saturday, February 16, at 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Midland Room at the Grand Traverse Pie company, 2600 North Saginaw Road.

This forum is being sponsored by the Michigan Center for Progressive Public Policy (MCP3).

MCP3 is offering this FREE community discussion group to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing Michiganders today.

Your host and moderator will be Michigan native Peter Sinclair, an environmental activist, global explorer and founder of the Midland-based ClimateCrocks.com.

A world-renowned videographer, Sinclair specializes in issues of climate change and renewable energy solutions.

His rich multi-media presentations and diverse knowledge of pressing environmental issues worldwide make him a popular speaker at schools, colleges, universities and community groups throughout Michigan.

Even if you can't attend, please take a minute to complete MCP3's simple one question environmental issues survey. The results will be shared with the forum participants.

New members and community supporters are always welcome!

Our monthly meetings take place on the third Wednesday at 7:00 pm, in the Commissioner Room located on the first floor of the Midland County Administration Building, 220 W Ellsworth St, Midland, MI 48640.

We do not meet in August or in December.

These meetings are FREE and open to the general public.  Bring your questions, comments, new ideas and a friend or two!

Discussion starts at 6:30 PM. The monthly meeting starts at 7 PM in the Commissioner Room at the Midland County Bldg, 220 Ellsworth, Midland MI 48640.

The Midland County Emergency Food Pantry Network (EFPN) is a non-profit, charitable organization established as a cooperative effort to provide food and supplies to people in Midland County.

Visit the Midland County EFPN mobile food pantry and receive free food to help supplement your family’s pantry.  No identification or proof of income necessary.  Please bring empty bags and/or boxes.   Today's community effort is being funded by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

Date: Saturday – February 23rd, 2019

Registration Time: 9:00 a.m.

Distribution Time: 10:00 a.m. – Food will be distributed until supply  runs out.
